Mixing today! I’ve had to think about how the original plan is shaping up. Since my original attempts to get some band interested in recording, I’ve not had a great deal of success in lining up anyone who can work within the constraints I have on recording time. Basically, I can only record during ‘office hours’ and access to the studio even during these hours is subject to the demands of others for studio time, so scheduling has been a bit of a nightmare.
I’ve falling back on looking at my own rough recordings, to see if there are any ideas there which would be worth developing, and concentrating on mixing some material that I already have, hence today, mixing in Logic for a band that we had in the studio last week. I plan to get a mix done today and see how that ‘pans’ out, (see what I did there…?)
