OK, so long story short, the IMac is a bit of a disaster. I’m going to have to take it to be repaired and it’s looking very much like it’s going to need a new hard drive. This is unwelcome news just before Christmas, but it looks there is no other option. My seasonal cheer is currently quite limited…
